In the digital world, a dubious act unfolded as Faisal Farooqi attempted to tarnish the spotless reputation of IMTS Institute by posting a false review on MouthShut com. But, truth has a way of emerging.
IMTS Institute, a respected center of learning, boasts a remarkable 99% approval rating from past students and an impressive 4.8 out of 5-star Google rating. Amidst this acclaim, MouthShut.com harbored doubts.
IMTS sought clarification from MouthShut com, but they refused to cooperate or reveal the identities of the negative reviewers. Suspicion deepened when a MouthShut com executive tried to extort money from IMTS to remove the fake comments.
To uncover the truth, IMTS met with Mr. Mihir Vidwans of MouthShut com, who offered packages to control negative reviews. He admitted that many reviews were unverified.
The truth emerged – MouthShut com knowingly allowed unverified negative reviews. IMTS responded by sending a legal notice to Faisal Farooqi, who had refused to disclose the identities of the alleged students.

MOUTHSHUT FAKE REVIEWS: A legal notice is sent to Faisal Farooqui who published a false review
- MouthShut.com allowed the posting of unverified negative reviews about IMTS Institute.
- When asked to provide the identities of the reviewers, MouthShut.com refused to cooperate.
- A MouthShut.com executive allegedly tried to extort money from IMTS Institute to remove the negative reviews.
- A MouthShut.com representative admitted that many reviews on the platform are unverified.
- MouthShut.com’s business model involves allowing unverified negative reviews and then asking businesses to pay to remove them, which amounts to blackmail and extortion.
It’s important to note that these are allegations made by IMTS Institute, and the veracity of these claims would need to be determined through proper legal channels. The legal notice served to Faisal Farooqui is a serious matter, and if the allegations are proven true, it could have significant consequences for MouthShut.com.
However, it’s also crucial to consider the importance of platforms like MouthShut.com that allow consumers to share their experiences and opinions about businesses. While it’s essential to ensure that reviews are genuine and not defamatory, it’s equally important to protect the rights of consumers to express their views freely.
There is nothing legitimate about this company. People are paid to write bad reviews about reputable businesses, and the businesses are then asked to pay 1.7 lakhs per month to have the reviews removed. The businesses do not verify the reviews. In fact, businesses are paid to have negative reviews posted. Most of the reviews you see on this site come from young college students, and the majority are unfavorable. I’m amazed that Google allows such a fake website to exist.
No email address is provided so this is an entirely fake review site in India. I would like to plead with the Government to stop this practice as soon as possible; it is the business of the people, in which anybody can leave a review, and competitors can leave fake reviews which in turn harm the business of their competitors…
The customer support number should be added if it is a good idea.
The fake blackmailing company must be shut down
The gang of scammers runs it and the company is completely fake. This guy Faisal blackmails people. It is overwhelmingly fake and negative reviews are posted by mouthshut users. I removed a review that contained personal details and remarks about my female employee’s body, but not the review itself. For removing the reviews, I was asked for 3 lac rupees. Moreover, none of the reviews can be verified, and there are no due processes in place to verify any of them. Stay away from this fake website.
